From the 12 holiday start locations we have 5 different fleets of boats, each with their own character but all operated to the same high level of service. Each base operates boats from only one of the fleets
Each boat is fully equipped with everything you would expect to find in a high quality holiday cottage. From kettle to cheese grater and bedding to umbrella, each home comfort has been thought of in the comprehensive inventory.Click here to see a full list of the equipment on board.
Hot water at the turn of a tap and full central heating for perfect comfort at any time of the year. We are one of the few fleets to provide pure filtered drinking water on all of our boats - the 150 gallon tank can be topped up daily from the frequent waterpoints along the canal.
The kitchen, or 'Galley' as it is known, has a full-size cooker, fridge and sink to provide for the appetite brought on by all the fresh air. The efficient and environmentally friendly toilets are all fresh water flushing and you will get limitless hot water for showers when the engine is running. All of our boats are inspected regularly and customer feedback is monitored to ensure our high quality standards are maintained.
Bed linen (& towels on certain boats)
All of our boats have 12 volt electricity, the batteries being charged whilst the engine is running to power items such as the fridge, lights, television and 12 volt charging socket (suitable for mobile phones / camcorders with a car-style charger). [symbol] This symbol indicates that a boat has an invertor that supplies 240v electricity to certain appliances on the boat. This is suitable for the electrical items supplied but if you decide to use any of your own 240v appliances you do so at your own risk.
